Linking Environment And Farming LEAF

LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) was set up in 1991 and is now the leading organisation delivering sustainable food and farming.  It is a proactive and inclusive charity that brings together farmers, the food industry, scientists and the public to inspire and enable sustainable farming that is prosperous, enriches the environment and engages local communities.  This is done by developing and promoting Integrated Farm Management (IFM), a whole farm approach to address economic, environmental, social and welfare issues.

LEAF has developed a strong knowledge exchange and delivery mechanism for over 25 years through a range of technical resources for famers, speak Out training, social media, video production, e-newsletters and open Farm Sunday.  A network of demonstration farms and innovation centres have also been established which, along with the other knowledge exchange tools help introduce effective methods and applications into the industry.
