Dimitar Vanev

Dimitar Vanev – Director of National Agricultural Advisory Service (NAAS) General Directorate “Agricultural advice and Analytical laboratory” since 2010. He manages the activities of the Directorate and its 27 regional offices, including training of farmers, the transfer and application of scientific achievements, providing advisory assistance for farmers, the development, maintenance and updating of the database of scientific-technical and business information within the information system of the NAAS, collection of accounting information from farms. His expertise is in economics and management of agro-industry, strategic management, Sustainable Rural Development and Agricultural policy development. He served as expert under different EU Twinning, Technical assistance and TAIEX projects
